Philip makes REALLY incredible and beautiful songs that I can only describe as how a forest must sound when it’s growing and no one is around. Take a minute to get quiet and go listen closely (especially to “tree king” immediately after reading this interview, you’ll hear what I mean).

Last night the people over at Koo’s Art Center held the first Scene & Heard Live Art and Music Show.Featured artists included Nate Coonrod, Carin Gross, and Stanton Holmes.

there are some words I’d like to say to sum up some of Theresa’s art: women, animals, guns, boobs, sport bikes, wildness, and boobs. Now tell me, doesn’t that sound fucking awesome? A woman painting awesome things that a woman wouldn’t normally like. Prepare to immense yourself in genius.

wanna know what people in portland look like? well, scroll down and see for yourself and dont let the scraggly hair fool you, they are all very friendly. i dont know much about the swim meet show that just happened up in north east portland, but i do know a bit about the dudes from together gallery. 

man its been hot!  if you live in southern california then you know what im talking about!  downtown los angeles, the valley, the i.e. and east los angeles.  these are all places that have been hot as hell!  we havent posted much in the past couple weeks because we have to work on new fun products and such, but here is a little something to keep you nice and cool.  hope you like it. sean t

Josh is new to the fart artist family and took some time away from walking his puppy and listening to black metal to answer some questions of ours. He has some really good stuff goin’ on and I think if GG Allin was still alive he could relate to some of Joshs work. Cheers!

we asked steve to host this weeks youtube tuesday and here is what he gave us.  its only one video link but we like it, you should too and just in case you didnt see his interview last time it was up we are showing it again.  

A few months ago Steve approached us on myspace and asked for some friends united network tees. Everyone in the office thought it must be some kid pulling a prank trying to mess with us by saying he was Steve and maybe get some free shirts. You never know right? To our surprise it really was him.

this past friday night berdhouse gallery opened its doors to show us new works from derek albeck and french.  i am pretty sure half of los angeles was there cramming up the small echo park space (thats what happens when you have free buttweiser).
