how did that influence you as an artist?

i grew up in the woods of northern new jersey right near the appilachian trail, it was remote and beautiful, lots of farms and animals, rivers and ponds right around my house. I spent alot of time wandering around the forest playing with sticks and building forts. i started skateboarding because the older kids near my house were and that opened my eyes to skateboard culture / graphics and music and really started getting me interested creating all the time weather with a penicil or on my skateboard.im kind of just a big kid.

first thoughts early in the morning?

I try to remember my dreams try to write them down or draw them out, i covered the walls in my room with dream drawings all last summer, it got pretty crazy

 

rumor has it you are a sea captain?

More like a lake captain, but yes, i own a beautiful sailboat named “sweet marie” after my mom :) I just enrolled in sailing school which starts in a few weeks, so im taking the steps to getting my captains license. Eventually id like to sail the seas and meet a mermaid.

A creative outlet, fun, alot of work: but fulfilling work that im doing with my best friends, my future, my past, my present, good for the community.

Lots of drawing for upcoming shows at Redux in portland, Project in LA, and together and working on illustrating my 1st childrens book that my sister wrote thats being published by another sky press, Skateboarding, gardening, sailing school and snuggling
